Idlewild Park offers scenic walking trails that guide you through the entirety of the park.
Nestled in the southeast corner of Cranbrook and filled with towering pines, there is plenty of open space, picnic benches, a horseshoe pit, and children's play equipment.
Equipt with three parking lots, a newly restored dam and reservoir/pond, and 2 fishing docks! There is an adventure course, zip-line, and an amphitheater stage.
Idlewild is the most versatile park in Cranbrook. A perfect place for families, relaxing, and outdoor fun.
In the winter? The park transforms into a white playground for tobogganing & snowshoeing lovers.
Idlewild Park was originally developed as the Reservoir for the City of Cranbrook until 1975 at which time it was updated and redeveloped into a community park.
