Summer Solstice Ecstatic Dance

Immerse yourself in the transformative experience of Ecstatic Dance at Cranbrook Community Theatre's Studio & Stage Door. Led by DJ Dancin' Dave, this event invites you to embark on a journey of freeform movement within a supportive and open environment.

The evening begins with an embodiment warm-up and/or Meridian Qi Gong practice at 7:30 PM, followed by 90 minutes of uninterrupted Ecstatic Dance. This practice encourages participants to explore movement freely, expressing themselves without words and connecting deeply with their bodies and the music.

Please arrive early or on time with a clear mind and open heart, dressed in comfortable clothing suitable for dancing barefoot. Bring a vessel for spring water, as moving and working up a sweat is encouraged. All ages and levels of experience are welcome, including children (under 16 with supervision).
