Renew, Rewild, Reconnect

The Mount Baker Secondary School Outdoor Ed class would like to invite you for a morning of connection, education, and dirt-digging fun! This inspiring group of kids has spent the last couple of months learning and working with Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook and the Co-Creating a Sustainable BC program hosted by Fraser Basin Council to bring a special community event to Cranbrook.

The morning will start with a couple of short presentations by Dave Quinn, from Know Your Watershed, and Megan MacPhee, from East Kootenay Invasive Species Council. After the presentations, the class has organized all sorts of fun activities for kids and adults alike! There will be a weed pull competition, face painting, games, lunch, a bake sale, and a lemonade sale put on by our local nature school kids.
