Remembrance Day Ceremony

Join the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #24 at 10:30 a.m. in Rotary Park for their Remembrance Day Ceremony. This year the parade will be forming up in the parking lot behind the Credit Union. For veterans, seniors and members who feel they cannot march the extra block, you are encouraged for fall in at City Hall and march to Rotary Park. The Fire Hall Kitchen and Tap has agreed to open their doors prior to the ceremony to warm up if you need to.
Around the outside perimeter of the cenotaph, the public can stand to watch, listen, and participate in Remembrance Day Ceremony followed by the laying of the wreaths.
Following the ceremony, the Cranbrook Legion branch (803 Cranbrook Street N.) will be open and everyone is welcome. A light lunch will be served.
