Join the Cranbrook History Centre for their new three part lecture series on the unique geology and fossils of the East Kootenays. Three experts have been invited to speak about the distinctive geology of the western and eastern slopes of the Rockies which also present a cross-section of unique paleo-climate and paleo-botanical environments.
September 25, 2019 7pm Fernie born geologist, Bob Morris, will be the first of our speakers to discuss the unique geological features of the Elk Valley as well as the significant scientific and economic discoveries of the area.
October 16, 2019 7pm Guy Santucci, Fossils of the East Kootenays
