Fortnight Showcase Presents: Ferdy Belland Live!

Ferdy Belland has spent over 30 fast and furious years in the Canadian Music Industry as a musician (mostly electric / upright bass), a concert promoter (Arctic Front Productions), an actor (Cranbrook Community Theatre), an arts journalist (Cranbrook Townsman, Nerve Magazine, GO Cranberley, Georgia Straight), and a radio broadcaster (CITR 101.9 FM, Vancouver), among other adventures. He has performed over 1000 live shows, either with Bif Naked, Phaeton, Garuda, the Voodoo Rhythm Kings, the Bison Brothers, the Mile High Club, the Belushis, the Gentle Infidels, the Feminists, TalisMen, and Cellar of the Sun. He started his musical journey as a young boy with his voice and his acoustic guitar, and now he comes full circle with an eclectic and enjoyable collection of his favorite folk-rock and alt-country songs.
