Bleeding Tree Dark Drama Film Festival

This new Film Festival will feature international short, medium, animated and feature-length films focused primarily on traumatic & socially pressing issues and how people find resolve & humanity in the face of it. Everyone is welcome into the beautifully restored and air-conditioned Studio Stage Door to get relief from the August heat and treat themselves to the talented works of filmmakers projected onto the big screen in the theatre. This is a collaboration between Cranbrook Community Theatre Society and the people who also co-founded the 7th Siding Festival of Film, now headed into its 6th year in Creston. Festival passes will be available online by July. Films are accepted in animation, student filmmaker, short documentary, and feature film categories; cash prizes will be awarded to the best films in each category.
