St. Mary's River

The St Mary River is a favourite for white-water kayaking and white-water rafting. The river flows east from St Mary Lake and both the lake and the river are reached by a paved road from Marysville (along highway #95A). Drive on the highway from Marysville and head toward Kimberley on the highway.

500 m From the parking lot for the Marysville Falls turn left (west) onto St. Mary Lake Road.

16 km (27 km marker) You can either turn left here onto St Mary River Road (If you turn left, cross the bridge over St Mary River and take the first road on the right. This is private property but allows public access). Or continue straight and you will see the scenic lake on left.
