Join College of the Rockies and Cranbrook Tourism for World Tourism Day 2025 — an afternoon dedicated to exploring sustainable transformation in tourism and celebrating the future of our community as a visitor destination.
The program opens with an address from a Ktunaxa citizen and welcoming remarks from College of the Rockies, followed by two engaging keynote sessions:

Sustainable Foundations in Cranbrook as a Destination – Learn how sustainable initiatives are shaping Cranbrook’s tourism identity and be the first to see the reveal of our new destination brand.

Kootenay Rockies: A Biosphere Destination – Discover what it means to be part of a global network committed to sustainability, culture, and community well-being.
The event concludes with refreshments, networking, and open discussions on tourism and sustainable transformation in our community.
