Cranbrook Community Theatre kicks off its 2025–26 season with Patrick Barlow’s award-winning comedy The 39 Steps, adapted from Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 film and John Buchan’s 1915 novel.
This fast-paced spy-farce features four actors playing more than 100 characters as Richard Hannay dashes from London to the Scottish Highlands, dodging spies and uncovering an international conspiracy.
Directed by Trevor Lundy and produced by Nikki Van Boeyen, this long-awaited production was originally scheduled for 2020 before being postponed. Now, the cast and crew are ready to finally share this wildly funny and inventive show with local audiences.
