Fly Tying Club
| Tuesday, December 30, 2025 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm | Cranbrook Public Library |
Join fellow fly-fishing enthusiasts at the Cranbrook Public Library for the Fly Tying Club, a recurring program welcoming all ages and experience levels. Each session offers a chance to learn how to tie your own flies, explore which patterns work best in the East Kootenay region, and share fly-fishing tips and techniques. Registration is required only for your first visit to help the Library gauge attendance. Participants are encouraged to bring their own starter tools and supplies, such as a vise, bobbin holder, scissors, whip finisher, hackle pliers, bodkin, thread, wire, hackle, and dubbing materials. This free program is hosted in partnership with Rocky Mountain Fly-Fishers.
