Join the Cranbrook Canadian Legion for a special Ed Talk on November 26 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, focusing on the support offered to veterans in our community and the stories of Cranbrook’s Lost Sons commemorated at the Rotary Park Cenotaph. Speakers include Debi Hart, Secretary/Manager of the Cranbrook Royal Canadian Legion and a lifelong advocate for honouring veterans; Marolyn Morrison, Director of Legion Branch #24 with deep family ties to military service; and Corey Cross, a local veteran who served eight years in the Light Infantry and founded the Egress Veteran Society to support veterans across the Kootenays. Together, they will share insights into the Legion’s work, personal histories, and ongoing efforts to preserve and protect the cenotaph and Wall of Honour.
