Ed Talk – A Pottery Evening with Cranbrook Arts

Kick off the New Year with a creative and hands-on Ed Talk featuring Cranbrook Arts. On January 21, participants will learn about pottery while creating a simple pinch-pot style project. Possible creations include sponge dishes, incense holders, or ring dishes, perfect for beginners and those curious about working with clay.
Before the hands-on portion begins, speakers from Cranbrook Arts will share insight into the organization, its programs, and its mission to make art accessible for everyone.
Speakers:
Kristin Teetaert – Executive Director
Kristin joined Cranbrook Arts in October 2022 and brings extensive experience as a multidisciplinary maker and art educator. Her vision is centered on inclusivity and ensuring art experiences are accessible to people of all backgrounds and skill levels. Kristin primarily works in clay and wool and is passionate about community-based art education.
Triana Bojarski – Program Director
Triana joined Cranbrook Arts in March 2025. A passionate potter and educator, she is dedicated to building inclusive and engaging arts programming for all ages. Her work focuses on connection, creativity, and strengthening community through art.
