Yaq?it ?a·knuq?i ‘it 29th Annual Boarder Walk

Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡi ‘it (Tobacco Plains) hosts their annual Rooseville border walk.
Walking through the border in solidarity restores spirit and brings awareness about the border dividing their families. This also reminds us that the border does not and will not divide or define us.
Meet at the Roosville Border at 9:30 a.m. and the walk will commence at 10:00 a.m. Afterwards, there will be a celebration with drum circles, games, dancing, and lunch. Special guest, and Indigenous artist, LOV will be performing at 1:30 p.m.
All visitors are welcome, so come out and show your support.
