BC SPCA Kids Summer Camp

This summer, kids are invited to join the SPCA for a week of camp that’s all about animals! Campers will take part in specially designed games and activities, hear from guest speakers and spend time with some animals in their care.
Location: BC SPCA East Kootenay branch
Five-day camps run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Four-day camps run from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Parents are welcome to drop off their child(ren) between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. and pick-up will extend for half an hour after camp ends.
July 2-5: for kids born 2011-2013
July 8-12: for kids born 2008-2011
July 16-19: for kids born 2011-2013
July 22-26: for kids born 2008-2011
July 29-August 2: for kids born 2008-2011
August 6-9: for kids born 2011-2013
August 12-16: for kids born 2008-2011
August 19-23: for kids born 2008-2011
Four-day camp registration fee: $125 (Early bird: $115)
Five-day camp registration fee: $165 (Early bird: $145)

Please note: The programs focus on educating youth about animals through fun and engaging activities. Kids will get a shelter tour and spend some time with approved suitable animals. When available, kids will also interact with behavior-evaluated dogs owned by staff or guest speakers (not shelter dogs). Kids will not be cleaning cages or working directly with the animals during the workshop.
