Sean Michael: Everybody Falls

Let's get to know Sean Michael's story and music:

Whalen has been writing and perfecting his art for over 30 years. Committed to raising his family first, Whalen honed his art waiting for the day when he could commit to the music career.

Classifying Whalen’s music proves to be difficult. It is Folk, in that the poetry speaks of the pressures of becoming aware in society, and the influence each holds on the expression of life. It is Country, in that he sings of love, growing up and getting older. It is Pop in it’s driving rhythms. Whalen’s words invoke a sense of wonder toward “the meaning of it all.” Whalen’s deliberate language is indicative of his learning in Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology.

Whalen does not write songs with the intention of avoiding problems; he writes them with the intention of gaining enlightenment through the problems. His beautiful poetry enables an immediate connection.
