1.  Connect With Local Businesses and Artisans at the Cranbrook Farmers Market.

Get out before the heat of the day and spend your Saturday morning at the Cranbrook Farmers Market. The market is a place to meet friends, celebrate local businesses and farming, and take a stroll. You'll find a wide array of food producers, growers, and artisans local to our area with products you'll love.

 

 

2. Cows And Yoga, What Could be Better? Join Sophia for Outdoor Yoga and Cow Cuddles.

Take a quick drive up to Ta Ta Creek Saturday morning and become immersed in nature as you refresh your mind and body with morning yoga from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM. This class is for everyone of all skill levels; no experience is necessary—just bring your mat, water, and sunglasses. The class, hosted by Yoga and Hypnosis with Sophia, is located at Lost Paradise Farm at Hahas Lake. The class is by donation or in exchange for farm help.

Less than twenty minutes outside of Cranbrook is this lovely lake. Moyie has a sandy beach to soak up the sun, but also a rocky beach that is dog-friendly if you want to bring your furry friend along for a swim. Moyie is a great place for all things water sports, including paddleboarding, windsurfing, and power boating.

Wasa Lake

If you want warm water, this is the place to be. Wasa Lake is known as the warmest lake in all of the Kootenays. The lake has two sandy beaches, perfect for relaxing or playing. If you like beautiful scenery, Wasa is the place to visit, with a view of both the Rocky and Purcell Mountains.
