Winter Day Camp – Clowning Around: Circus Arts
| Friday, February 27, 2026 | 8:30 am - 4:00 pm | Royal Alexandra Hall |
Step right up for a day of creativity, movement, and laughter at the Winter Day Camp – Clowning Around: Circus Arts. The circus is one of the world’s most universal and joyful art forms, blending acrobatics, juggling, music, acting, dance, and storytelling from cultures around the globe.
Here in Cranbrook, circus history has a special place thanks to the legendary Cranbrook Ed, the escaped circus elephant who helped put the city on the map. Campers will learn Ed’s story while exploring their own creativity through clowning and circus-inspired activities.
Circus arts offer a unique and engaging way for children to build confidence, coordination, and physical fitness while expressing themselves in playful and imaginative ways. Through hands-on activities and guided exploration, kids will gain new skills, make new friends, and have a whole lot of fun along the way.
