This year, Sam Steele Days is going to look a little different. Rather than cancel the festival, the Sam Steele Society has decided to have a little fun by making things virtual – and businesses are invited to participate!
There are four ways you can participate in the festivities this year. Plus, your participation will support local industry that has been hit the hardest by the Pandemic!
Sam’s Cash Stache
This event is completely virtual and will run June 14th to June 20th. Businesses are invited to register and participate by purchasing a $100 gift card to a local food and beverage establishment or restaurant. By participating, your business will receive a unique code snippet to hide in your website, or a unique link to post on your Facebook page.
When the contest begins on June 14th, clues will be provided for people to find your website or Facebook page. When they find where you have hidden Sam’s Stache, they click the link and can enter to win the $100 gift certificate you have purchased to support local industry.
This is an amazing opportunity to gain traffic to your website or Facebook page while supporting local industry! Registration is open until June 12th so don’t delay!

Sam’s Pandemic Parade
Businesses and residents are invited to register and participate in Sam’s Pandemic Parade by decorating or creating a fun attraction in their windows and yards, which people can drive by and vote for their favourites. Attractions with the most votes will win some great prizes – and, best of all, it is completely free to participate! But, you need to register to ensure your attraction gets listed on Sam’s Pandemic Parade directory!

Steel of a Deal
Who loves food? Sam does! If you are a local food and beverage establishment you will not want to miss your opportunity to create a Sam Steele Days-inspired dish, which will be promoted over the course of Sam Steele Days! It only takes a few minutes to sign up. You just need to know what special menu item you will be offering and we will make sure locals hear all about it! This is also completely free!
