Love Your Museum! Open House

Celebrate your local history at Love Your Museum!, a free open house at the Cranbrook History Centre on February 14, 2026. This drop-in event invites the community to learn more about the work being done to preserve and share Cranbrook’s stories and heritage.

Explore information tables at your own pace, chat with knowledgeable staff, and learn about current projects, programs, and opportunities at the History Centre. Representatives from Fort Steele Heritage Town will also be on site, sharing details about upcoming events and programs at the Fort.

This is a welcoming, family-friendly opportunity to connect with the people behind your local museum and discover how you can get involved. Admission is free, and donations are welcome to help support programs and keep local history thriving for future generations.
