Kootenay Comedy Festival

September 6, 2019 - September 7, 2019

The First Annual Kootenay Comedy Festival is taking place on September 6th and 7th at the Comedy Circus in Cranbrook! There will be homegrown comics bringing the funny and workshops for those who want to give it a try!

Friday September 6th will see co-headliners Sarah Stupar and Katie Westman riffing on that red neck life.

Sarah was born and raised in Cranbrook and has previously been featured at the Lady Show in Montreal and Tinder Tales in Vancouver, telling her stories about being a small town girl trying to make it in the big city!  She didn't make it, so she's home now.

Katie has been touring Canada with Yuk Yuks for the past few years and before that she failed nursing at the College of the Rockies right here in Cranbrook because she was too busy snowboarding!  Now she's coming back to have a good laugh about it, and you will too!

Saturday September 7th we'll have HOMETOWN HERO Mark McCue back in town! Mark has toured the country bringing his strange stories coast to coast. He recently won the Grindstone Comedy Contest and has worked with many of Canada's best comics.

more comics to be announced!

All Shows $15

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE

There will also be an Open Mic on Saturday after the show so that you too can disappoint your family and loved ones by attempting to become a stand up comedian!  And why not prepare by taking a workshop??
