Historic House Walking Tour

September 4, 2021 57 Van Horne Street South Cranbrook, BC V1C 1Y7

Our Historic House Walking Tour takes place Saturday mornings from 10:30 – 11:30. It will run every Saturday in July and August.

The tour will depart from the farmer’s market at 10th Avenue on the South end of Rotary Park, and from there embark on a path through Cranbrook’s historic house district. The tour focuses early settlers in Cranbrook, why they came to Cranbrook, and how they made this town their home. The tour finishes at Baker Park, outside Colonel Baker’s house, the longest standing settler home in Cranbrook, and home to the man who founded the city.

Tickets are $7.50 and can be purchased online, below, or in person at the museum.

Thank you to Soulfood for their partnership in this year’s Summer Walking Tours. Soulfood is offering attendees of both our Downtown and Historic House Walking tour a free drink with the purchase of an entrée when they dine at the locally owned restaurant.
