Garden Delights by Laura Leeder

Cranbrook Arts Featured Artist Exhibit in October is by Laura Leeder and her exhibit is called “Garden Delights”. Laura’s collection of mixed media collage paintings on wood panels are a result of exploration of many techniques and methods. She pours herself into each piece planting moments of joy for the viewer to discover between each intricate layer. Laura Leeders work has been exhibited in Alberta, BC, the US and can be found in private collections throughout Canada, the US, the UK, France and Japan. It has also been featured in US TeaTime magazines and in various online business blogs, including feature articles in local Kootenay newspapers. This August she opened up her Garden Studio in Creston to the public through the Columbia Basin Culture Tour and the Cross-Country Seeing Artist Studio Tour, of which she is a member.
