Cranbrook Historic Downtown Walking Tour

This hour-long walk will take you through history and back again. The tour starts at Colonel Baker’s home and circles the downtown area to finish at the Firehall opposite of Rotary Park. On the tour, you will gain an understanding of some of the challenges, failures and successes of Cranbrook and its residents in building up this city to the present day. This year, the Cranbrook History Centre is working in collaboration with the Firehall Kitchen and Tap. Stop there for a bite to eat and a cold beer after the tour, and use your ticket to receive 10% off appetizers!
How to register:
Register for the tour inside the museum or over the phone at 250-489-3918. You can pay over the phone or in person, and you will receive confirmation of payment as well as your ticket.
Where to meet:
The tour begins at Colonel Baker's House at 1601-1st. St. S., in Baker Park. You can find street parking in the area. Please arrive at 5:50pm so that the tour can start on schedule at 6.
The tour finishes in a different location, two blocks west of Baker Park, at the Firehall. Please keep this in mind when you are arriving to the tour, as your guide will not be bringing you back to the starting location.
