Cranbrook & District Kennel Club's 50th Annual Dog Show

The Cranbrook & District Kennel Club is having its 50th Annual Championship Dog Shows, on August 25, 26, 27/2023 at Moir Park in Cranbrook.  This year marks the 50th year of Championship Shows being held in Cranbrook. Dogs entered will be coming from many locations in Canada and the USA. Many of the top show dogs in Canada will be in attendance.  There are 66 different Breeds of dogs entered this year at our shows.

The judges for this years’ Dog Show are coming from BC, AB SK and Mexico.

Judging will start at 09:00 AM daily and Best in Show awards will be approximately mid afternoon. There will be a Junior Handling competition on Saturday and Sunday at noon. Spectators attending the shows are asked to leave their pets at home as they cannot bring dogs onto the grounds during the events taking place during the day. Only dogs which were pre-entered by August 9th are allowed on the show grounds.

So, remember, everyone is welcome to come to the dog show and the different events taking place on August 25-27 at Cranbrook’s Moir Park, there is no fee for attending.  There will be an information table for people with dogs that are interested in joining the Cranbrook & District Kennel Club or knowing more on the different sports and activities that are offered for dog owners by the local Club or the Canadian Kennel Club.
