Community Forest Weed Pull

Hello Cranbrook citizens...If you use and love the trails and woods of the Cranbrook Community Forest you may be pleased to know an opportunity to give back to the Forest will be offered at 5:30pm on June 28th 2023.
A few local groups (Cranbrook Community Forest Society, East Kootenay Invasive Species Council - EKISC, and TC Energy) are organizing a weed pull.
Invite your friends and join us at the picnic site on Sylvan Lake Road, near the outhouse and parking lot by Sylvan Lake at 5:30pm. There will be half an hour of training and orientation, and then one and half hours of weed pulling, topped off with a hearty hot dog barbeque (vegetarian options available).
Please join us by foot or car (the north end gate will be open at 5:15pm) and give our treasured forest a helping hand.
