The Canada Cup West is a premier annual archery competition held across Western Canada, and in 2026 it comes to Cranbrook. Taking place June 5 to 7 at Moir Park, the event welcomes athletes from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. Competition includes a 720 qualification round, individual elimination match play, and mixed team match play, with an additional Optional 720 event open to all archers.

The Canada Cup West supports Recurve, Compound, and Barebow divisions for U18 to 50+ age classes, including Master, Senior, Junior, and Cadet categories. The event promotes high-level regional competition, athlete development, and community celebration of the sport, while also serving as a potential pathway toward international selection.

National classification for Para Archers is planned if applications are received by April 25, 2026, and all coaches must meet Archery Canada licensing requirements. Practice sessions, equipment inspections, ceremonies, qualification rounds, elimination matches, and medal presentations will take place throughout the three-day event. Doping control may be conducted in select categories.
