About Sunshine Houseboats & Marina
Sunshine Houseboat Vacations Ltd. began in 1999, born from Brant and Dianne Cullum’s desire to share the serene beauty of Lake Koocanusa. What started with four houseboats named after their daughters soon expanded into a well-loved venture, with a growing fleet and a reputation for delivering unparalleled experiences on the water. The company’s first marina, set opposite the Elk River, quickly established its unique character. As word spread and demand surged, Sunshine moved to a larger marina in Gold Bay in 2006, where it continues to thrive. By 2022, Sunshine operates a full-service marina, welcoming guests to explore the lake’s tranquil waters and stunning scenery.
