Besides the inside of the hotel, Cranbrook's culture awaits just minutes walking or driving away. If you want to check out the downtown nightlife and casual dining, they all are only 1.5-km (about a 20 to 30-minute walk) from the hotel. The several golf courses are nearby, and they are all within a couple of minutes driving.

 

Best Western

Cranbrook's Best Western hotel is a prominent building along highway #3/95. From the hotel, you can reach the College of the Rockies, the Cranbrook Regional Hospital, the numerous hiking or biking trails - all within 3-km.  The Cranbrook History Centre, with its Canadian Museum of Rail Travel and their new fossil exhibit, is well worth visiting. The History Centre is about 4 km from the hotel.

The Cranbrook Sandman Inn is across the road from the largest biking and sporting gear shop Gerick Cycle and Sports https://www.gericksports.com. The outdoor sports fields, Moir Park for ball tournaments, the Western Financial Place and the Kinsmen Arena are within 3-km. The St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino is within 10-km.

Recreation trails of the North Star Rails to Trails, the Cranbrook Community Forest, Chief Isadore Trail and Elizabeth Lake are all within 3-km.    

 

Kootenay Country Inn

The Kootenay Country Inn is a spacious two-storey, neatly painted white motel. It is diagonal across the busy intersection Victoria Ave. and highway #3/95 from Cranbrook's shopping centre the Tamarack Mall. Rick's Fine Meats has a great selection of highest-quality meats and cheeses is just around the corner on Theatre Road beside Starbucks.

 

Travelodge by Wyndam

The Travelodge is across the highway #3/95 from the Tamarack Mall Cranbrook's largest shopping area. The motel is spacious with a large parking lot for industrial vehicles and worker's equipment. It is close to all the fast food and casual dining restaurants along the highway. Visitors to the Travelodge can enjoy proximity to everything in Cranbrook within a couple of minutes drive. The Cranbrook Regional Hospital is about a 5-minute drive away. Two Cranbrook golf courses are within a few kilometres.

 

Lazy Bear Lodge
