5 Perfect Places to Camp in Cranbrook

May 8, 2018 | Cranbrook Tourism

Does anything beat summer camping?

Awoken by birds in the early morning with the fresh smell of nature. Maybe there's dew piled on your tent tarp, or the suns warmth peers through your window...
It's the burned coffee and campfire toast, washing dishes in the plastic bins, fighting with tarps & tent pegs, and eating potato chips for lunch that makes camping fun.

Whatever your taste and camping style—roughing it in a tent or glamping in a luxurious fifth wheel... Cranbrook has something for you. There are six campgrounds within a 40-minute drive from the city of Cranbrook.

1. Moyie Lake Provincial Park Campground

This 111-site campground has all the amenities, including a sandy beach, dock, showers, full-service hookups, a play area, boat launch, sani-dump station, and more. It's situated along the shores of beautiful Moyie Lake, perfect for swimming, boating and fishing.

2. Jimsmith Lake Provincial Park
